Unfortunately moving is not always a choice. Often a move is needed in a hurry, and there is little time to plan ahead. Well, we are here to help you relocate in a pinch!
Tips on how to select a Mover:
If possible, you should ask for a price before revealing the move deadline. THEN state your move date and ask if there is any difference in price. You should save some bucks right there.
Questions you should ask:
Insurance: request that the moving company place a copy of their insurance form together with the estimate form. Licensed moving companies are required to provide limited liability at no additional cost. Additional coverage may be purchased for a premium.
References: we strongly recommend you ask your mover to provide you with recent written (1-2 months back) references. Take the time to call!
Licensing: if you’re moving long distance, request the mover to attach to your Order For Service a copy of his authority. If you’re moving locally request the mover to attached to your order his local license.
